Testimonials

"Renzo is one of those people that will brighten up any department that he works with. I got the chance to work with him on Rock Band Rivals and his work alone showed off his skills and passion for sound & QA. Our Lead Sound Designer asked for his help on composing a song for the narrative game mode of Rock Band called Rockudrama and he jumped at the opportunity and nailed it out of the park. He does not think twice about going the extra mile to assure pristine quality on anything he touches. Definitely recommend Renzo for your team."
Anthony Verdes, QA Tester on Rock Band 4

"Renzo's breadth of knowledge and passionate enthusiasm to his craft made the game jams I participated in such imaginative, & productive, fun. I would welcome his participation and contributions in any creative endeavor. An absolute pleasure to collaborate with!"
Calvin Nelson, Freelance Graphic Designer and Art Director

"Renzo is a wonderful person. He is compassionate, friendly, and professional. I've worked with him in the DLC team (on Rock Band 4) for the past year, and he is an effective and efficient part of the pipeline. He communicates well, isn't afraid to ask questions, and consistently puts his best effort into every task. Overall, Renzo is an incredibly positive force in the workplace."
Nicole Amidon, Artist on Rock Band 4 & Rock Band VR

"I had the pleasure of joining the group which hired Renzo into our team managing Rock Band 4 DLC. In his role as an Audio QA Tester, Renzo performed admirably, digging deep into the systems and tools used in the DLC pipeline and ensuring the highest possible quality for shipping product despite strict, weekly timelines. His background and passion for audio work not only served the DLC team well, but also allowed him to extend a helping hand (or ear, as the case may be) to several other projects in both QA and Audio capacities. Additionally, Renzo is a truly affable individual who stays involved in larger industry events and is always happy to share his resources and knowledge with others.”
Rachel McCourt, QA Lead on Rock Band 4

"During the MassDiGI ‘s Summer Innovation Program Renzo was the sole Sound Designer for all four projects. These games included: Midnight Terrors, Cat Tsunami, Many Mini Things, and Limbs. He was extremely successful juggling all of these projects simultaneously while giving each game its own distinctive and unique sound. Renzo enthusiastically took critiques and suggestions to improve his work, while implementing feedback quickly and accurately.

During the final weeks of the development cycle, he additionally sounded and scored a game trailer for each project. This had him concurrently working on eight separate projects, all of which were delivered on time and came out great. Renzo has a friendly disposition and positive demeanor; he is extraordinarily gifted at music composition and a natural talent at sound design.
I would highly recommend him for any position or to help on any game, AAA or Indie.”
Jack Dalrymple, Founder of Cap and Cut

"I had a blast working with Renzo on God of War! One of the friendliest and most talented people I’ve had the pleasure of working with. He’s passionate about the game industry and always strives to learn and improve every day."
Michelle Deco, QA Analyst on God of War

"Renzo did an amazing job creating the music for Midnight Terrors. We provided him a list of different music/sounds we needed, and he quickly gave us a realized creation... Working with our engineers, he brought his sounds into FMOD and helped create a dynamic experience. Overall, Renzo's work helped define the tone of the game, and shaped the direction of the project."
Benji Smith, Associate Software Engineer at Vicarious Visions

"Renzo is one of the most kind & dedicated people I've ever had the pleasure to work with. I've regular watched him pull off the impossible with a smile on his face & encouragement for people who have easier jobs than his. He's a great communicator and writes beautifully clear bugs. Somehow, he also has the energy to be deeply involved in the local game dev scene, & he's awesome at that, too. If you ever have the chance to work with Renzo, jump on it as quick as you can!"
